2011 Heroes...... You are all mine!

WOW! with tears in the eyes. This has been the main phrase and reaction I have received from members of the audience who attended the 2011 Hero Program. I too, concur with the audience. I am very proud of what the Lo-Ru West Studio dancers have achieved in a 3 years. We are coming right along.
We will continue to strive to become better and better. As I have always said, Great things come out of small packages!
With Summer???( the weather could be a little nicer) upon us, I hesitate to take ANY time off. Just as I get you all in condition, ready to push into harder combinations and technique, its summer vacation time and everyone scatters for a while. I trust as you enjoy your time off, you put in a little bit of stretching and strength building into your daily routine of sleeping in!
It is funny... only two short weeks have gone by and the spies are out already trying to find out what music I have been listening too for the 2012 February performance. I welcome all and any guesses! It looks like this is turning into a spy game of sorts how fun is that! I can say, with God as my guide, it will be nothing short of SPECTACULAR!
I just have to say something about our trip to Sioux Falls and the dancers who participated with me. Great Job! I wished a few more of you could have traveled east. NEXT YEAR! Start planning now. It is good time for you to jump out of your comfort zone and see what another studio does and the dancers who attend there. Sounds like an army recruitment statement... See the world and meet new people!
Day one was funny to watch our 5 dancers be a little nervous not knowing what was going to happen or if they would be able to do any of the combinations that were asked of them. MMMMM Miss Robin is not the only "Crazy Teacher" in this world! Thanks Miss Jackie! The look on the 5 faces and to watch the confidence grow really quick when they understood exactly what the teacher was talking about. Priceless!
Well, time to start listening to more music and finishing up paperwork on statements, planning 4thof July, summer intensive schedule and fall registration forms. They will be listed on the website soon!
Again, Outstanding Job on the recital. I'm very happy with our results! Any time you can evoke strong happy emotions out of the audience, you did your job!
See you soon----- July 1 10:00am for those who want to dance at the fair!

Been dancing since I was 4. Haven't stopped yet. God willing, my students will keep dance in their lives always.
